This impressive Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum), estimated to be over 100 years old, proudly stands on the Central School playground in Stratford. Thanks to Tim’s Tree Care, Phase 2 of its care was successfully completed.
During this phase, maintenance and structural pruning were carried out to balance the tree’s structure, ensuring it can withstand environmental stresses like wind and snow. Reduction cuts were also made to prevent interference with nearby infrastructure, such as power lines and buildings.
Additionally, dead limbs were removed to eliminate potential hazards for pedestrians and those enjoying the school playground.
