Chapter Launch Event: Celebrate Elder Trees

Come learn about how we can preserve our elder trees. Enjoy a guest lecture by Professor Pricklethorn, witness the conservation pruning of an elder Sugar Maple, and take part in a tree planting demo and Tree Care 101. Explore fence weaving art, join a tree inventory workshop,Tour des Trees 10km Cycling Event and go on a neighbourhood tree walk to discover interesting trees in your area.
This family-friendly event reminds us all about the importance and value of the trees that grace our communities.
