Reasons to Give

Love Old Trees?
Many of us have strong connections to mature trees. Words like stability and strength come to mind. While change may be all around old trees, they are steadfast, enduring reminders of our history.
We treasure their shade on increasingly hot summer days. They shelter, house, and nourish the birds whose beauty and songs we cherish—along with countless other forms of wildlife. Old trees lie at the heart of every beautiful landscape, helping to define the places we call home.

Offset Your Carbon
Trees absorb and store carbon in woody material above and below the soil. In general, the bigger the tree, the more carbon it stores.
While so much money is invested searching for high tech solutions to capturing carbon, our trees are quietly doing the job for a minuscule fraction of the price.
You’re welcome to use the calculator below to explore a suggested donation amount that supports efforts to balance emissions from flying, driving, and heating your home.

Honour A Loved One
Many families planning a funeral or celebration of life choose to invite mourners to make a charitable donation in lieu of flowers. These gifts can serve as a lasting tribute, reflecting the values and passions of the person being remembered.
A donation to Tree Trust is a particularly meaningful way to honour someone who loved nature, valued the environment, or found joy in the natural world.
