About the TOTY Candidates:

Explore some of Erin’s most notable trees and uncover the stories, history, and ecological importance that makes each one special within our community. From longstanding landmarks to locally cherished favourites, these trees are an important part of Erin’s natural heritage.

As you explore, consider what makes each tree unique: its beauty, its history, or the role it plays in bringing people together. Then, cast your vote to help crown Erin’s 2026 Tree of the Year!

The winning tree will be celebrated and honoured at special events later this fall, recognizing its significance and the community’s connection to it.

Check out Erin’s Chapter Page for a map of all TOTY candidates. Stay tuned for updates, event details, and more opportunities to get involved.
