Standing proudly at 55 Queen St., this remarkable Ginkgo biloba, estimated to be around 90 years old with a DBH (diameter at breast height) of 106 cm, is one of the largest Ginkgo trees in Stratford. Known for its resilience and unique beauty, this tree was also awarded the title of “Stratford’s Tree of the Year.”

Tim’s Tree Care pruned the Ginkgo tree to prevent branch breakage and eliminate rubbing limbs, which helps prevent damage and the potential for wounds or disease. They also reduced the weight on over-extended branches to enhance stability, making the tree safer during harsh weather conditions. These actions ensure the extended life and health of the Ginkgo, fostering its vitality and resilience within the community.
