About Cobourg Tree Trust

Launched in 2025 with generous support from Tree Canada, Tree Trust Cobourg is proud to be part of our growing network of chapters working to preserve mature trees across Ontario. A charming lakeside town rich in history, culture, and natural beauty, Cobourg is a natural fit for Tree Trust’s mission.

With its historic tree-lined streets, vibrant parks, and strong community spirit, Cobourg understands the value of protecting its green heritage. Since launching, the chapter has already made an impact by hosting public engagement events, educational walks, and its first official tree care project focused on preserving a significant mature tree in the area on July 26th.
