It was a beautiful day on Monday and what a crowd! Tree Trust hosted a poem session with the Grade 5 and 6 classes from Elora Public School, Songs by Elora Festival Singer Rich Hrytzak, and a Tree Round composed and introduced by Julie Corey with local singers.
Tree Trust was so pleased to have Mayor Shawn Watters to welcome everyone to the event and local Historian Al Koop to tell the crowd a little about the history of Victoria Park and surrounding area.
The Black Cherry has been part of this landscape for over 100 years.
